The small print

Your privacy.

A simple overview of what happens when you visit Dotsona.

Browsing the collection

You do not need an account to use Dotsona. You can browse without giving an email address or uploading a photo. The configurator uses your chosen name and appearance to describe the pet you create.

Drafts and created pets

Uncreated configurations stay in this browser as a local draft. Save configuration downloads a JSON file. When you choose Create pet, your complete configuration, name, creation record and generated PNG are sent to our service and stored using Cloudflare D1 and R2. Anyone with the resulting link can read the pet page, image and configuration. These pages may be indexed by search engines; created user pets are not automatically listed in our gallery or sitemap.

There is no account ownership or automatic deletion feature in this first version. Saved pet pages are frozen snapshots. Editing or clearing a browser draft does not remove an already saved pet or copies others have downloaded.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and interactions, including which characters people view, which filters they use, and whether they share a character page. Google may use cookies and process technical information about your device and visit. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information in our custom events. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration.

Analytics loads only on the production dotsona.com domain. You can turn it off for this browser below. Your choice is stored locally on your device. Clearing your browser storage resets this preference.

Hosting and external links

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes network requests to deliver pages and protect the service. Links to Google or OpenAI lead to separate websites with their own privacy practices. Copy for Dot copies an import request to your clipboard. Share opens an available system sharing panel, or lets you copy the page link. You choose the destination; Dotsona does not collect the recipient.

Your choices

You can block analytics with browser settings or extensions, clear existing cookies in your browser, and choose not to follow external links. Turning analytics off here stops future measurement from this site after the page reloads; it does not delete data already processed by Google.
